I Believe that the mood of this book is sad. Because Ender is rejected from society, the people around Ender do not respect Ender. The whole story carries out this backround. The sadness in this story is more of a Internal hurting. Many people may agree with this. Mostly everyone has experienced rejection. Therefore I believe this story may connect to other peoples lifes also.

I didn't know mood of this book was sad. I read few pages of this novel and never thought it would be sad. By judging by covers and begining of this book, it would not be sad mood. Next time I will read this book. Thank you ~
