Editings #5

* are there are any current situations in the world that relate to the novel? what are they, and how do they relate? does the novel shed any light on how current situations could be resolved or "fixed"?
The truth of this world is that not everyone is accepted. There are people who are alone, and who are left out in the cold. We just leave the people who are left alone to be as they are. Just because someone is different or does not have the same traits we have doesn't mean that we should treat them differently. In the book it shows clearly that Ender, who is a Third, gets teased by his peers, and by his family. We often forget that each and everyone of us are different. I think this novel shows how someone who is rejected by society actually saves the world with his powers. Though he is rejected, Ender does not get depressed but he finnishes the game. And he proves himself by saving the world. The lesson I learned was that" Prejudice may make people blind, but true character does not show on the looks or knoledge, it is in the heart"

Prejudice was a very big issue back then. Even now their are issuses in prejudice. I do not understand those people that are prejudice. Even if the person has a reason you can not hate because of that. Therefore prejudice is a sin from what i can see.

I have to agree with you with the theme "...not everyone is accepted". In TCIS, I saw this situation happening. Many foreigners who come to TCIS are rejected by some students. I am ashamed of myself because I was one fo them. When I saw foreigners in TCIS, I first ignored them because they were different from me. I noticed that when I really got to know them, they were sweet and warm-hearted. I love your last sentence. :]
